Icy Straits Lumber is equipped to handle all sizes of logs that come from our geographical location. We have a 56" headrig saw that cuts up to 20' lengths. A Mighty Mite saw that cuts 12x12 up to 30' lengths. A smaller bandsaw is equipped to cut a 16x16 up to 40' lengths. Our large log splitter is able to quarter up any oversized log into managable pieces. We also have several edgers, a trimmer, and a 4 sided planer.
For finished products, we have added a Brunner-Hildebrand Dry Kiln, a Weinig 6 Head Moulder, Dry Storage Building, and a large Air- Dry Storage Building.
In addition to beautiful old growth, tight grained wood to work with, we have a great team of highly skilled experienced men ready to do you a job with exceptional expertise and quality in mind for your finished product.
